About Us
1. We believe that every believer should pursue full devotion to Christ and His cause (Colossians 1:18; Phil. 2:1-11) and learn to hear the Shepherd’s voice, to receive guidance from Him, and to learn to obey His commands. (John 10:3-5)
2. We believe that every thing done in the church must be based on prayer (l Thessalonians 5:17; Ephesians 6:18; Luke 18:1) following the pattern from the early church (Acts 1:14; Acts 4:31) in order to get Bible results. (2 Chronicles 7:14; Jeremiah 29:13; Mark 11:24; James 5:16)
3. We believe that anointed preaching and teaching of the word of God (KJV of the Holy Bible is the catalyst for transformation in individual lives and in the church. (Romans 12:7; 2 Timothy 3:16,17; James 1:22-25)
4. We believe that the church is to flow in the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22; l Corinthians 12:7-11) to produce lasting change which comes spiritually, not intellectually. (Romans 8:5,6; 2 Corinthians 4:18) Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty and unity (2 Corinthians 3:17) and the compassion of the Holy Spirit brings sensitivity to the needs of others. (Philippians 2:4)
5. We believe that all believers should pursue continuous growth to become Christ-like in character, personal authenticity, and wholeness. (Ephesians 4:25, 26,32; Hebrews 12:1; Philippians 1:6)
6. We believe that the Body of Christ should be a team of ministers (Romans 12:5) “fitted” together in harmony and unity of spirit and singleness of purpose (l Corinthians 1:10). The Biblical foundation for this team should be the principles of sacrifice, service and submission, fully honoring the price the shed blood of Jesus paid to establish covenant (Ephesians 4:13-16). This includes the concepts of open communication, transparency and vulnerability. (Acts 2:41-47; Proverbs 17:17; John 15:13, 14)
7. We believe that this church must be led by men and women with leadership gifts who are called of God. (Ephesians 4:11; l Timothy 3:2-13) They must understand the concepts of servant leadership (Mark 10:43, 44; John 13; 14; l Peter 2:12; Luke 6:35), strategic focus and planning (Jeremiah 29:11), and leading by example. (l Timothy 3:1-3; Titus 1:6-9).
8. We believe that this church has an objective and a mission - to reach the lost and make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20) This includes the concept of relational evangelism and evangelism as a process at home and abroad. (Luke 5:30-32; Mark 16:15, 16; Matthew 18:14; l Corinthians 9:19-23)
9. We believe that loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life and that the church has a responsibility to address marriage and family issues from a Biblical perspective. (Ephesians 5:25-32; Ephesians 6:4; l Timothy 3:4; l Peter 3:1,7; Deuteronomy 6:5-9; Proverbs 22:6; John 21:15) This includes relationship building within every ministry in the church. (l Corinthians 13; Nehemiah 3)
10. We believe that life change occurs best in home or small groups where believers are trained in areas of discipleship, vulnerability and accountability. (Titus 2:15; l Peter 3:15; Luke 6:12, 13; Acts 2:44-47) .
